Workshop on Maritime and Coastal Sustainable Tourism for Blue Growth in IMT-GT: Managing Over Tourism was held on 21-24 April 2019 at Krabi Resort, Krabi, Thailand.
The workshop aims to provide an overview of selected tools for maritime and coastal sustainable tourism management as well as a platform to share best practices and experiences among the IMT-GT members. Pol. Lt. Col. Kitibodee Pravitra, the Governor of Krabi Province delivered the welcoming speech followed by an opening speech by Ms Pitjira Maneenetr, Deputy-Director General, Department of Tourism, Thailand Ministry of Tourism.
The two-day workshop is attended by IMT-GT Working Group of Tourism, representatives from states and provinces in IMT-GT, related ministries and government agencies, academicians as well as the private sector.
